American Home Design did a fabulous job on our bathroom. Removed an old fiberglass tub/shower and replaced it with a walk in shower with glass doors. The communication, professionalism, and installation was as good as it gets. We are very pleased and would definitely recommend the services of American Home Design to anyone considering a project that fits their services. They called to confirm they got the card and get the "necessary" information to send me the gift card. When I wouldn't let them pressure sell me or come to my house for "water inspection" I suddenly didn't qualify for the gift card. As affected government agencies and courts begin to re-open, we will resume our program in those jurisdictions. As always, we encourage consumers to perform their own research, to the extent possible, before hiring any business. We ordered a replacement door from American Home Design for an entry that posed problems due to the original construction. No amount of adjustment seemed to make it easy to open or close. American Home Design showed their concern in providing a quality product correctly installed by a crew that was orderly, skilled, and careful with the movement and placement of tools and material. They were able to overcome the problems posed by the original builder in regards to framing and brick work.
We need answers and hoping that the BBB can help. We had quite a back and forth between the salesman and his boss. They were not able to do all the work we wanted for our bathroom remodel, so we scaled down what we wanted and got a quote around $23,000. We declined that and were contacted by the supervisor a day or two later who said he could lower the cost to $14,000. I've simplified the back and forth by cutting out a bunch of phone calls and 4 home visits for pictures and measurements.

He said call if the smell was still there after two days the smell Came back we called several times and kept getting the run around talking to several people and no one has come out. At this point we are trying to get the money together to fix it since we have lost faith in the warranty they promised. We would prefer American home design pay a third party agreed to by us to fix the damages to out house.
